Who We Are and What We Do
A locally owned stationery and supplies business on Oginga Odinga Street, Kisumu.
Notebooktrailx is a retail and bulk-supply stationery shop located in the commercial heart of Kisumu, serving customers across the Lake Victoria basin since 2018. We stock and sell notebooks, exercise books, office stationery, art supplies, and printer consumables to a wide range of customers: primary and secondary school pupils, university students at Maseno and Kisumu University, teachers and school administrators, county and national government offices, churches, NGOs, and small-business owners who need to keep tidy, professional records. Our shop occupies a single-storey unit on Oginga Odinga Street — identifiable by the azure shopfront — and is run by a team of four full-time staff who are all Kisumu residents. We do not operate an online marketplace or offer nationwide courier delivery as a standard service; our focus is squarely on serving customers within Kisumu and the immediate Nyanza and Western Kenya region, where we can guarantee product quality, fair pricing, and timely fulfilment.
How We Work — and What to Expect

Our team sources stock from established Kenyan and regional distributors, inspecting quality on arrival before placing items on the shelf or releasing them to institutional orders. We have completed over 1,200 bulk orders since opening, ranging from a single class set of 40 exercise books to full-term supply packages for institutions ordering in excess of 2,000 units. We take pride in accurate counting and correct invoicing — two things that matter enormously to school bursars and office administrators. Every institutional account receives a written delivery note with their order. We are honest about what we cannot guarantee: delivery timelines to towns outside Kisumu depend on third-party transporters and road conditions that vary with the seasons. We will always communicate expected timelines clearly before you confirm an order. What we can guarantee is that the product you receive will match what was invoiced, at the price agreed, and of the quality you inspected or were shown a sample of in our shop.

Community Commitment
We sponsor the Oginga Odinga Street back-to-school drive each January, donating exercise books to pupils from low-income households in Kisumu East, Kisumu West, and Kisumu Central sub-counties.
